2000 km hands-free: Tesla impresses with its autonomous driving
While the autonomous driving of Teslas, the famous FSD (for Full Self Driving), could well eventually arrive in Europefor the moment it is still limited to a handful of countries and users. One of them, relayed on the X platform by a person used to publishing information about Tesla, seems to have set a new record which suggests that the manufacturer could have found the winning formula.
The very promising FSD in version 14
In detail and according to the published photo, the vehicle in question would have traveled 1136 miles, or approximately 1817 kilometers (equivalent to Lille > Porto in Portugal), and this only with assisted autonomous driving activated. In other words, the Tesla did not need any human intervention to complete this long journey on its own.

1,136.3 miles on FSD (Supervised) V14.2 without a single intervention and the car drove itself 100% of the time. 80% of the miles were on highways, 20% city. 29 successful self-parking jobs in a row. Sent to me by a follower.

The driver specifies that 80% of the trip was made on the highway and 20% in the city. The Tesla also managed to park itself 29 times in a row during this trip. It should be noted that this journey took place with version 14.2 of the FSD, recently published by Tesla.

Although it will take many other examples of this kind and more complex situations to fully test it and make us forget its previous hiccups, apparently, Tesla’s autonomous driving has taken a real step here.
