Chassis, connections, screen of the Lenovo Yoga 7 14ARP8 (82YM007LFR)

Robust due to its compliance with the American military resistance standard MIL-STD-810H, this 2-in-1 laptop with a compact, thin and light Storm Gray silver aluminum design that can be opened 360° to transform into a tablet has an elegant and discreet.

Multi-touch touch technology equips the screen: by simply placing at least one finger on it or the stylus provided, you can interact with the system and software.
As a result of its tactile aspect, the screen is shiny. It therefore gives punch to the colors but is subject to reflections in a bright environment (e.g. outdoors).

The screen also stands out for its OLED DCI-P3 characteristics thanks to which the colorimetry is much more faithful than average while the viewing angles, both horizontal and vertical, are large, the blacks are very deep and the latency is minimal.
The screen also adopts a 16/10th format which displays more information in height than the classic 16/9th. The Full HD definition is average.

Via Windows Hello technology and the facial recognition system of the Infrared webcam, you can authenticate biometrically.

When the ambient light is reduced, you can better distinguish the keys of the chiclet keyboard by activating its backlighting system.

Performance, autonomy of the Lenovo Yoga 7 14ARP8 (82YM007LFR)

The Lenovo Yoga 7 14ARP8 (82YM007LFR) is a compact 2-in-1 laptop PC convertible into a tablet intended for general versatile use on the go.

Nomads like some wishing to equip themselves with a Student laptop convertible into a Tablet will appreciate being able to transport it as easily as an Ultrabook thanks to its compactness, finesse and lightness. Especially since its autonomy is around 8 hours on battery in light use.

To offer such autonomy it relies on a high capacity battery. But also low consumption components like its 16 GB of RAM and its AMD processor Rembrandt Refresh Octo Core Ryzen 7 7735U in which the Radeon 680M graphics module is inserted.

We obtain very good performance in everyday use, including multitasking, with this elegant aluminum laptop, thanks to which we can carry out light multimedia work using RAM and multi-core (e.g. photo editing, video encoding).

However, it is better to opt for a PC based on a non-low consumption processor and/or an appropriate dedicated graphics card if you plan to often carry out work requiring processor and/or graphics resources.

Lenovo Yoga 7 14ARP8 (82YM007LFR)

To support the heart, Lenovo has integrated SSD storage into this hybrid laptop. It rivals the hard drive standard in terms of capacity with its 512 GB while being more robust, less energy consuming, quiet and much faster.

As a result, the SSD ensures much better fluidity and responsiveness on a daily basis than a hard drive.
Startups/shutdowns are much faster thanks to the SSD, as are processing and application launches. And we get to the online game maps faster.

Of course, in the event that 512 GB is too tight, you can use an external storage unit such as a USB 3.0/USB-C device to benefit from fast transfers.
