The opportunity to follow the childhood and eventful present of the hero, Kazuma Kiryu, and three of his friends. The man is today a formidable Yakuza, driven by a deep sense of justice and duty and an unparalleled humanity.

The first three episodes of the series will be available from October 25, 2024, and the last three from November 1.

A star to play Kazuma Kiryu

If the series respects the original material, fans and newcomers (including those waiting Following Shogun impatiently) can hope for a clever mix of politics, fights and epic moments loaded with emotions and betrayals.

In case the series is a success, many other installments with Kazuma Kiryu at its center are ready to be adapted. More recently, the character of Ichiban Kasuga took over in a new saga launched by the game Yakuza: Like a Dragon (not to be confused with the Amazon series, therefore). Different spin-offs have also been released, including the two games Judgmentmore investigation-oriented and less yakuza.
