Prime Video transforms its Warner Pass into a Max subscription, the new prices revealed

Prime Video's Warner Pass becomes Max.

The Warner Bros. streaming platform. Discovery soberly named Max arrives in France this Tuesday June 11 and will be available by subscription via its dedicated site and application, as well as from certain other distributors such as Canal+ And Prime Video. Amazon's streaming service will therefore modify its Warner Pass to correspond to this new offer.

Warner Pass becomes Max on Prime Video Channels

THE Warner Pass, an offer bringing together 13 channels from the Warner Bros. group. Discovery, as well as HBO content, arrived in March 2023 on the streaming platform Prime Video. We already knew at the time that the group intended to release its own SVOD service, Max, in France and that the Warner Pass was only a temporary formula.

On June 11, Max officially arrives in France and it is therefore time for the Warner Pass to evolve. The offer will therefore simply become Max on Prime Video Channels, and current subscribers of this formula will see it automatically change to a Max subscription.

House of the Dragon season 2 will air on Max.

Season 2 of the series House of the Dragon will be broadcast on Max.

For them, the price of €9.99 remains unchanged and they will continue to have access to Eurosport at no additional cost until December 11, 2024. After this date, however, you will have to pay €5 per month to keep this channel.

For Warner Pass subscribers And to the Ligue 1 Pass, the subscription will be grouped into a single Max package from June 11 for a price which will increase from €17.99 to €9.99 (pending the return of the League 1). The conditions around Eurosport will be the same.

What prices for new Max subscribers on Prime Video?

For those who have not subscribed to the Warner Pass, two Max offers will be offered on the Amazon streaming service. The first is an option with advertising, Max Ad-lite, the price of which is set at €5.99 per month. The second, Max Ad-free, is unclaimed and costs €9.99 per month. Eurosports content will then be available for €5 more.

And what content for all this? Access to programs from Warner Bros. group channels. Discovery, including the iconic series from the cable channel HBO.

Fans of serial fiction will be able to immerse themselves in the complete Game Of Thrones but also look at Succession, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos or Sex and the Cityas well as the latest popular series like The Last of Us And House of the Dragon, whose new season begins June 17. Some content will even be offered in 4K, at no additional cost.

Note that for its launch in France, Max also has distribution agreements with other media, such as Canal+, Orange, Free and SFR.

As for Canal+, subscribers to the Ciné-Séries, Friends & Family, Intégrale and Rat+ Ciné-Séries offers will have access to Max from June 11 and at no additional cost. The service will be a paid option in the other packages offered by the group.
