The main element noted by the media is the following: the first two models would support eight bands, while the last two would only support five. In any case, all versions would support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax with support for 5 GHz (compared to 2.4 GHz for previous versions), as well as Bluetooth and NFC. Only two models would offer LTE support, while support for UWB (ultra-wideband) is mentioned. This latest technology would go hand in hand with the new Pixel smartphones, in particular to improve the unlocking of the watch. Confirmation very likely in a few weeks during the Made by Google conference!
