Recently looking for an e-reader to replace my somewhat tired Kindle Paperwhite, I discovered this gem among the latest releases.

This e-reader is capable of displaying colors while maintaining the reading comfort that totally differentiates e-readers from touch tablets. It can directly read .epub, .pdf, comic book formats (to see if you find what you're looking for on a 6-inch screen), in all 25 formats.

It is not afraid of water (practical!) and allows you to listen to audio books (original!) with a Bluetooth headset. It can also be controlled by voice.

Like most, it is touch-sensitive; you can change the intensity of the backlighting (which is also self-adaptive), the size and the font.

Thanks to WiFi, it stores reading positions and synchronizes with the mobile app on your smartphone which can be used in case you forget.

Surprise, a pack of ebooks will be offered as well as a cover worth €18.

Technically very close to the new Paperwhite which is in the same price range, it has color, audio playback, a more compact and lighter format, reading of .epub without conversion, an official cover that doesn't cost an arm and a leg (lol).
The Paperwhite has a larger screen (6.8″) and a longer battery life (2 months versus 1 month, depending on usage).

Some will appreciate getting out of the Amazon and GAFA ecosystem, and especially the complexity of adding “personal documents”.
