After mayThen Julyhere come the September Northern Lights. Like the previous ones, these auroras are visible at lower latitudes than usual. On the night of September 12 to 13, they could be seen mainly in the north of France, but some lucky people even observed them in Occitania.

Still visible tonight?
If you missed the show last night, all may not be lost: the forecast is certainly less favorable, but some auroras could still be visible during the night from Friday to Saturday.

As with the previous ones, these auroras at low latitudes are the consequence of the particularly intense activity of the Sun, which is currently reaching its peak its 11-year cycle.
