Pizza all year round with the Cuisinart Electric Pizza Oven
Although cooking a pizza takes just over 5 minutes, it is not a skill that everyone can master. To make the dough rise, crispy while retaining its softness, you need an oven that can handle the cooking.
To compete with the players in this small market, Cuisinart is releasing its first electric pizza oven: the CPZ120E. Its advantage – like all electric ovens – is its ability to be used indoors. Real pizzas are no longer reserved for sunny days. At only 27.3 cm high, 46.1 cm wide and 45.5 cm deep, the Cuisinart is not reluctant to sit on your worktop to make pizzas 30 cm in diameter.
And if we talk about a “pizza oven”, the Cuisinart is obviously able to cook several dishes. Focaccia, calzone, gratins, pies, quiches, cakes: everything can be prepared in the CPZ120E. The user only has to set the desired temperature, which can go up to 400°C. A timer is also available on the oven.
To monitor cooking and not burn the dough, the user can monitor the preparation through the glass door and even light up the inside of the oven.
Cuisinart provides a large ceramic stone to better distribute heat and make the dough crispy. A deeper baking tray is also included with the CPZ120E oven for baking quiches and pies. Finally, a pizza peel and cutter are included.
Offered at €400, the Cuisinart pizza oven is already available, notably on the Boulanger website.
