Ghoul Island is the first adventure in Sandy Petersen's campaign for Cthulhu Mythos and can be easily introduced into any fantasy setting. It unfolds over 4 acts leading to a epic climax.
Unlike the American version, this French edition brings together the four parts of this campaign in a single volume of more than 200 pages. It is intended to be played in 14 beautiful sessions, if all goes well… and takes adventurers from level 1 to level 14. In what state, that's another story!
- In the first part, The Journey to Farzeenthe heroes endure the unnatural ravages of the weather, as well as the attack of creatures emerging from the ocean, before discovering that more than strange things are brewing in their destination city.
- In the second, Ghoulocracyit is the whole island on which they are stranded that they are going to explore. The dangers that await them in the jungle are much worse than those of the Amazon, and much less natural.
- In the third corpus, The Cleaning Teamthey will pursue a group of conspirators to their lair, but alas, a very unpleasant surprise awaits them, and they risk being captured, owing their salvation only to a zoog!
- Finally, in the fourth and final part, whose title we will not reveal, so as not to reveal too much to the players, the adventurers will have to confront a terrible creature, and follow a traumatic journey through The Dreamlands !
