Eleven years ago, a terrible fire took Alice's family and shattered her spirit. Confined to Rutledge Asylum, she took refuge in her imaginary Wonderland to escape her inner demons.

Ten years later, she has finally been released, but she still carries the heavy burden of this tragic event.

Her mind in tatters, she is unable to overcome the fear of her memories, dreams, and strange visions. Perhaps she would feel better in Wonderland. She always has. There, she finds everything the “real” world cannot offer her: safety, knowledge, and the truth about the past. But in her absence, Wonderland has suffered, too. A great evil has befallen her beautiful refuge. Will Alice save Wonderland (and herself in the process) from the madness that consumes them both?
