The Castelli Alpha RoS 2 Jacket is the ultimate winter jacket providing warmth, high breathability and rain protection along with a soft, comfortable fit.
The outer shell of the jacket is made of GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric. The lightweight fabric features a unique membrane that offers the triple crown of being completely windproof, highly breathable and water-repellent, while also providing insulation.
Minimal seams and sealed shoulder seams eliminate points where moisture can enter the jacket when venturing into mist, wet roads and even light, incessant rain.
It’s in the Alpha’s unique double-layer construction where its insulating qualities really shine. Underneath the outer layer, the Alpha Jacket has an inner gilet that hugs your body perfectly. This provides suitable insulation down to -5°C and also means you can regulate your temperature with ease. You can open the outer layer to allow air to enter the jacket and wick away moisture without sacrificing insulation and exposing your body to wind chill.
A double-layered cuff integrates with winter gloves, and a flat waistband hugs the body to keep the cold out through the jacket's openings.
The stretch fabric features an updated pattern with a narrower panel between the shoulders and a wider front that allows for a body-hugging fit that minimizes flapping and better reflects your body shape on the bike. The new fit accommodates a wide range of body types and positions on the bike.
