According to some sources, the presentation of the Nintendo Switch 2 will take place before the end of September 2024. As for its marketing, opinions differ: some speak of March 2025, others bet on a later date of the same year.

Developers have reportedly already had the opportunity to observe the console, speaking of a fairly conventional design. Nintendo's machine would have an 8-inch screen and would be equipped with magnetic Joy-Con controllers. Backwards compatibility could be there, both for digital and physical titles.
Engadget talks about a potential eight-core processor and between 8 and 12 GB of RAM. The integration of Nvidia's DLSS technology is also considered to greatly improve the graphics quality of games.
The Nintendo Switch 2's pricing positioning remains unclear, with analysts suggesting a price of $400 compared to $300 for the current generation. This increase would put the machine on par with its competitors in terms of price, the PS5 And Xbox Series X.
Metroid Prime 4 in the launch line-up?
For launch games, no titles have been officially announced. But some believe that Metroid Prime 4which has finally been presented, will be integrated into the line-up of the Nintendo Switch 2.
In the absence of official confirmation from Nintendo, this information should be taken with a grain of salt.
