Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: leaks agree, it will be more expensive this year but less than expected
According to Steve Hemmerstoffer, well known for his leaks of all kinds, notably for the publication Smartprix, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could well get a price increase over last year's model. In the US, the model with 128GB of internal storage would be available for $649, which is a $50 increase over the launch price of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. The same will apply to the 256GB model: the latter could be available for $709, which is, once again, an additional $50 over the previous model.
More expensive than last year
A few days ago, other leaks reported a price increase of €100 in Europe compared to the S23 FE. Based on this new information, there is a chance that the S24 FE will benefit from a more limited increase of €50 as well instead of the expected €100. In other words, from €699 of last year's S23 FE, Samsung's least expensive premium model could go to €749 here. As for the model with 256 GB of internal storage, it would be available for €809. This corroborates more recent leaks already covered in these pages.
So, while prices will be higher this year (certainly due to the integration of Galaxy Ai – it will be Samsung's cheapest model to offer these features), they will still be lower than expected. As for the release date of the new Samsung Galaxy S24 FEit is not yet known. However, it should take place at the end of the year: the S23 FE was released on December 8, 2023, and it is a safe bet that Samsung will more or less respect this schedule for this new model.
