Thunderbolts: a generous first teaser for the next Marvel film

The final film of Phase 5 of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) already has a trailer!

The studio headed by Kevin Feige has in fact put online a first “teaser trailer” of more than three minutes giving us a taste of Thunderbolts * (with the asterisk), his new film which promises to be a Suicide Squad Marvel version.

A team like no other

With Thunderbolts * , Marvel fans will be able to follow the adventures of a group of super-villains and anti-heroes in search of redemption and sent on a mission by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), who appeared in particular in Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

This will therefore assemble this team unlike any other, composed of characters already seen in the MCU: Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour) and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) in Black WidowUS Agent (Wyatt Russell) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) in Falcon and the Winter Soldieror Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Also seen in these images is actor Lewis Pullman (Lessons in Chemistry), in the guise of a certain “Bob”. This one is in fact Robert Reynolds, aka Sentry, a Marvel superhero still unseen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Note that the title of this film directed by Jake Schreier (Relentless) and written by Joanna Calo (The Bear), Lee Sung Jin (Relentless) and Eric Pearson (Black Widow), has had an asterisk added.

Since this adjustment last Aprilrumor has it that this team will eventually be called the Dark Avengers. Marvel has, however, announced that it does not want to resolve this mystery before the film's theatrical release on April 30, 2025.
