It should be noted that this is an Android smartphone whose existence was revealed on Weibo. As Chinese manufacturers are very fond of foldable models, its possible existence is of little surprise but it should be taken with a pinch of salt. What characteristics are we talking about?

A thickness of only 8.9 mm

With a maximum thickness of only 8.9 mm when folded, this foldable smartphone promises to be one of the thinnest in its category. This model would have a battery of around 6,000 mAh, above the Vivo X Fold3 Pro and its 5,700 mAh.

The design of this future smartphone seems to be inspired by current trends. We would notably find a circular camera module in the center with three 50 megapixel sensors, including a periscopic telephoto lens. Which is strongly reminiscent of the Vivo X Fold3 Pro or the OnePlus Open.

Under the hood, we would find an SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (SM8750), an evolution compared to the Gen 2 and Gen 3 chips that equip the competition.

Innovative materials for light weight

According to known information, its weight is between 190 and 199 grams. This foldable smartphone would be positioned well below the 239 grams of the Vivo X Fold3 Pro or the 236 grams of the OnePlus Open. For comparison, it would even be lighter than theiPhone 16 Pro Max (227 grams) but with a similar display surface when unfolded.

This technical feat can be explained by its materials. We are talking in particular about alternatives to traditional glass, or even the integration of a new generation of vegetable leather instead of titanium.

This foldable smartphone would benefit from IPX8 certification for increased water resistance. If this information is confirmed, it would place this model at the same level as the Vivo X Fold3 Pro in terms of waterproofing, while being better than the OnePlus Open.
