Bringing only subtle improvements over the iterations is what we could reproach LG for on the two previous generations of this C series. With the LG OLED C4, it's something else. The Korean manufacturer delivers a television that evolves for good, delivering a more striking, more realistic image, with impeccable colorimetry to enjoy the beautiful cinema image. Above all, the image becomes much more pleasant to watch in a room bathed in light, a considerable asset, even if the positioning of the television remains essential to avoid the most significant direct reflections.
Apart from offering a more striking image, LG has evolved its C4 on other points, notably on the audio side, but also with the possibility of playing up to 144 Hz, or even thanks to the upgrade of the processor or that of the interface. So many points which, this time, are indeed subtle improvements if we compare with the LG C3. If these improvements remain essential in order to refine the formula of this C series, we are delighted to see that LG has given birth to an OLED television capable of proving its superiority by the image, and not only by the upgrade of its functionalities.
