The first completely original Pixar series

On his side, Win or Lose is the first Pixar series not to be derived from a studio film. Directed and written by Carrie Hobson (Elementary) and Michael Yates (Drunk), this eight-episode series follows the intersecting trajectories of characters as they prepare for their next big softball game.

As the synopsis points out, “We find there both children feeling bad about themselves and overprotective parents, when it’s not a loving referee!” Each episode thus highlights the point of view of a different character and is presented through a unique animation style.
