Xiaomi Smart Band 9: the new connected bracelet that has everything to please
September 26, 2024 was the opportunity for Xiaomi to announce a host of new products. Besides smartphones 14T and 14T Prothe Chinese brand has given pride of place to accessories with headphones Buds 5the watch Watch 2 in titanium and the Smart Band 9 connected bracelet.
Discreetly launched in Europe in August 2024, this latest device was presented with great fanfare. The opportunity to review the key elements of its technical sheet, still as solid generation after generation.
Xiaomi's Smart Band 9 benefits from a 1.62-inch Amoled screen with improved maximum brightness compared to the previous generation, at 1200 cd/m² compared to 800 cd/m². It will therefore be visible at all times, even in direct sunlight.
Like the Smart Band 8it benefits from a sophisticated design thanks to its aluminum case, a material well known from Apple's Apple Watch Series.
Xiaomi's new connected bracelet also benefits from a boost in autonomy thanks to a larger battery. Going from 190 mAh to 233 mAh, its capacity now allows the Smart Band 9 to grant a maximum of 21 days of autonomy and a total of nine with Always-on mode. The previous generation was limited to 16 and six days on a charge.
Physical activity tracking is obviously still there with support for 150 different sports. The heart rate sensor has also been improved, still measuring blood oxygenation, sleep and stress level.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 is already available for €40 in France on the official Xiaomi website or from other resellers. Five colors are available: pastel blue, powder pink, gray, black and titanium.
