“ The Bow and Arrow Makers Forum takes up residence at ParcSainte-Agathe October 12 and 13, 2024.
Enough to give the public the opportunity to discover crafts linked to the world of archery over the course of an entire weekend!
Every year, the Archery and Valois Museum gives craftsmen, archers, collector's item enthusiasts and visitors the opportunity to discuss the traditional manufacturing of bows and arrows. The challenge is to make these products known to as many people as possible. technical and heritage know-how.
In addition to meetings with exhibitors, young and old have the opportunity to participate throughout the weekend in games, workshops, introduction to several prehistoric weapons (thrower, polearm, sling and javelin) but also to flexible instinctive shooting and to visit an archtraditional game.
This year again, on-site catering is offered.
For the occasion, the museum's permanent collections and the SacréBestiaire exhibition! Animals and legendary creatures are accessible free of charge both days from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m..”
