Nintendo Switch 2: best Joy-Con, rising price and release date
There Nintendo Switch 2 has not finished making people talk about her. For several months, details concerning it have continued to fall, suggesting an announcement in the coming weeks. According to the latest news, the latter would take place during the month ofOctober 2024.
Last weekend also brought new information on Nintendo's next console. On September 27, the Spanish magazine Vandal specifically relayed information from Ruben Mercado, CEO of Blade.
The props designer explains that he had access to the final version of the console, which allows him to share some details about it. We thus learn that the Switch 2 would benefit from Magnetic Joy-Conas previous rumors predicted. This would make it much easier to remove the controllers from the console. To this would be added a new design for the analog sticks.
The CEO of Blade then points out that Nintendo's next portable console would be launched during the month of March or April 2025. A perfect period for the company, given that this would either boost the current fiscal year or to get off to a flying start in 2025.
Finally, the price of the Switch 2 was mentioned: between $440 and $550, a price clearly higher than the $299 requested at the release of the first Switch or the $349 requested for the Switch Oled.
