Good deal – Lyca Mobile offers a free plan for a purchased plan
We are already more than a month away from the start of the 2024 school year. However, special back-to-school offers are still available from certain operators, including Lyca Mobile which is offering you a free mobile plan until October 31. In fact, if you buy a plan from the operator, they will offer you another one for free, which can be a good deal if you have high mobile data needs or someone to whom you want to give it as a gift.
Which Lyca Mobile plan for back to school?
In its catalog of prepaid plans, Lyca Mobile is currently selling five low-cost mobile offers on the networks of Bouygues Telecom. However, only three of them benefit from its back-to-school offer which allows you to win a free mobile plan: Lyca S plan, Lyca S Plus plan and Lyca M plan.
Designed for small data consumers who make a lot of calls abroad, the Lyca S plan at €9.99/month allows you to benefit from a 10 GB plan with calls and SMS unlimited in mainland France, but also unlimited international calls to 50 destinations. The included 10 GB envelope can also be used when roaming from Europe. If your phone is compatible with eSIM technology, you can choose this option with the Lyca S plan. On the other hand, for the second identical plan that you receive for free, only a physical SIM card is available.
Paradoxically, the Lyca S Plus plan includes a lot more data for a lower price. Offered at €8.99/month, it includes an envelope of 180 GB usable in mainland France, including 11 GB to spend on roaming from Europe. Added to this are unlimited national calls and SMS. This plan does not entitle you to international calls. However, you benefit from the eSIM and a physical SIM card for the package offered.
The Lyca M package is aimed at intensive smartphone users. For a price of €14.99/month, this prepaid plan includes 300 GB of data in France, including 17 GB to be consumed while roaming in Europe. The offer also includes unlimited national calls and SMS, as well as unlimited international calls to 50 destinations. And if you have contacts in the Philippines, you'll be happy to know that the Lyca M includes 60 minutes of calls to that destination. Finally, as with other Lyca Mobile plans, you can choose the eSIM for the main plan and a physical SIM for the second plan offered.
