We no longer present Mark Gurman. And according to the journalist, always very well informed, Apple has no connected ring in the works. And for good reason: the Cupertino company already dominates the wearables market with the Apple Watch. Launching an Apple Ring would boost sales of the connected watch.

Suffice to say that this decision makes sense: why would Apple disperse with a connected ring when its Apple Watch range is selling well? The Californian company has no interest in competing with Samsung and its Galaxy Ring or hasith the famous Oura Ring 4 which has just been revealed.
Compared to a connected ring, the Apple Watch has more advantages: a screen for a better user experience and features beyond simple health tracking. The connected watch allows you to manage messages, calls, music, etc. Its versatility is attractive to many consumers.
For those disappointed who were hoping for a model designed by Apple, connected rings like the Oura Ring are perfectly compatible with the iPhone.
However, the journalist specifies that in the world of tech, plans change quickly. If the Cupertino company does not have a connected ring project at the moment, nothing says that this will not change in the future.
