Technical information Before each use, check your Easybreath, especially your child's: – Take the snorkel in your hand and move it from left to right. The ball must follow the movement without constraint
– Check the presence, condition and correct position of the seal
– Check that all the valves are present, that they are not deformed and that they are firmly pressed against their support
– Check the overall assembly of the mask and that there are no defects in the assembly of the skirt on the frame and the glass
– Never use the mask without the snorkel

What should I do if I have fogging? If your eyes fog up, we invite you to repeat the 4 steps previously detailed, to reposition your Easybreath mask correctly and to check that the size of your Easybreath is well suited to your face. If the problem persists, do not use the mask and contact the nearest Decathlon store.

Snorkeling safety Snorkeling is a simple and fun activity for the whole family! Breathing through a snorkel is more demanding than just swimming. IF you feel tired, short of air or dizzy, remove your mask and get out of the water.
Do not use this product if you have cardiovascular or respiratory problems (lung infection, angina, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, etc.). Do not hesitate to consult your doctor if you have any doubts.

What Easybreaths are available at Decathlon? Easybreath: the mask that allows nose-to-mouth breathing, which offers a wide field of vision and an anti-fog system thanks to air circulation. Available for adults and children.

Easybreath + (540): in addition, an acoustic valve which allows you to speak more audibly, on the surface, with your head above water (without having to remove the mask!)

Easybreath 900: a flexible nose to compensate for the ears and to go down to a depth of 3m, no longer stay on the surface, go down!

What is the Easybreath adult immersion mask – 900? The Decathlon Easybreath 900 mask has the same characteristics as the Easybreath 500 (anti-fog, panoramic field of vision, ease of donning, dry-top snorkel) with the big difference that this new snorkeling mask is equipped with a new innovation: “nose-access”. The flexible part at the nose allows you to balance your ears and go down without risking hurting your eardrums.
All the power of the Easybreath concept with the possibility of descending!

Why a soft nose on an Easybreath mask? Despite a reduced volume, during descents or short apneas (up to 3 meters underwater), the surrounding pressure will increase. This is what will cause discomfort in the ears. To compensate for this, the easiest way is to pinch your nose and blow gently to send air into your ears.
The pressure can also cause the mask to collapse. To relieve any discomfort, blowing through your nose or mouth is the easiest so that the mask repositions itself.

How does Easybreath work? The fresh air is projected onto the window before reaching the nose or mouth via the nasal valves. This constantly arriving fresh air limits the appearance of fogging.
The air loaded with humidity and CO² is evacuated through channels located in the rim of the mask which conduct this air into the snorkel. The air is constantly renewed. The incoming and outgoing air flows are separated, avoiding remixing of polluted air and allowing only fresh air to be breathed.

How does the dry-top system work which stops water ingress? The mask uses Dry top technology. This system was developed to prevent water from entering through the snorkel when there is chop, waves on the surface, in the event of immersion or when the user leans his head too far forward to observe the depths. The snorkel is equipped with a float that rises to close the opening when the snorkel is submerged. When this happens, remember to take the snorkel out of the water and then blow into the mask to ensure that the buoy comes back down correctly.

Why is the Easybreath mask not made for diving? The choice of the Decathlon snorkeling mask (Easybreath) will be made if the user is mainly looking for very high breathing comfort and a large field of vision.
By its design, the Easybreath Decathlon mask is ideal for people observing mainly from the surface and wanting to carry out a few small breath-holds at shallow depth.

What size Easybreath 900 should I choose? The Easybreath Adult immersion mask – 900 is available in 2 sizes and covers 90% of adult faces.
From 12 years old and for small faces choose size S/M and for larger faces: size M/L.
To choose the right size in store, tighten the mask on your face: there should be no space between your chin and the bottom of the mask.

Can I wear the easybreath 900 if I have a beard? Beard hair prevents good contact between the facial skin and the mask skirt. The tightness of this full face mask cannot therefore be guaranteed for beard wearers. The best way to guarantee waterproofing is to shave. Failing that, using a thick ointment like petroleum jelly can also be a solution.

Can I wear glasses with my Easybreath mask? The majority of spectacle frames will prevent the mask from sealing properly by deforming the mask skirt. This makes it complicated to use the Easybreath with prescription glasses.

What precautions should I take with my Easybreath 900? Be careful of the sand! Avoid putting your Easybreath 900 full-face diving mask in contact with sand, which will scratch the mask window. In the presence of sand, do not use force to clip the snorkel. Rinse the snorkel and mask before putting them on. Sand can also block the float that is in the snorkel. Rinse the snorkel vigorously or use a key to pass through the rear vents of the snorkel to unlock the float, then rinse the snorkel.
