Garmin Fenix ​​8: new update for this recent range of sports connected watches

Garmin continues to take the software part of its latest tocantes seriously. The specialist in sports connected watches (and cautious about the connected ring market) has in fact started the deployment of a new update for its Fenix ​​8, Fenix ​​E and Enduro 3.

Available worldwide to beta program members, the software version 11.87 fixed the following four issues since beta 11.84:

  • Fixed an issue where turning warnings were not displayed when using navigation
  • Fixed missing navigation settings page when launching route navigation
  • Fixed an issue that prevented you from saving or deleting shipping activities after skipping saving the last point
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when turning off smart notifications automatically, for users paired with Android
  • Fixed a malfunction in the Battery Saver dial on large AMOLED displays

In passing, we learn that two new dials for Fenix ​​8 Solar have been added, and the management of the touch screen when turning on the backlight has been improved. As a bonus, the latest three Garmin watches are entitled to better fluidity of animations and scrolling in the dial editor.

In addition to these changes, the5Krunner underlines that the Fenix ​​8, Fenix ​​E and Enduro 3 have been entitled to more than sixty bug fixes and improvements since their launch. However, most of these are still in the beta stage.

You will therefore have to wait a little longer for people who are not fans of the software versions currently in development. This nevertheless once again underlines the keen interest and seriousness of Garmin to offer a very well finished product, which is destined to evolve over time.
