Marshall SC20H tube guitar amp head (JCM 800 type)
659€ – SonoVente.com
So I wonder why this SC is called SC when it says JCM on it.
Because hey, the JCM 800 was called JCM because it was the initials of Jim Charles Marshall. But who is SC? I don't think it's Sofia Copolla, otherwise we would have made a big deal out of it. Nor Sean Connery, that would be great bullshit. This head is strong but not heavy enough for Sébastien Chabal to lend it his initials. And it's an amp that doesn't laugh, so we forget Sébastien Cauet.
So maybe at Marshall they had an internal raffle to see what initials they would give to this amp and Sally Cogan, the accounting intern, won. They are lucky in this case not to have run into Peter Qwinton, the interim Happyness Manager, because we French would have had a good laugh.
