The end of October is likely to be particularly busy for OnePlus. The company is preparing to release Oxygen OS 15, and the OnePlus 13 should be marketed very shortly (at least in China). And while all these projects seem to be aligning, a recognized leaker, Digital Chat Station, present on Weibo (the Chinese social network) shared some leaked photos of the OnePlus 13, before finally deleting them from his post. As with all leaks of this kind, it therefore remains wiser to consider them sparingly: an official announcement should not take long in any case.
A more premium feeling
As you can see in the photo shown above, the result looks professional. The back of the device reveals a metallic texture, with a material quality which should offer a premium feeling unprecedented for a OnePlus smartphone. On the other hand, another photo revealed on Weibo shows the OnePlus 13 alongside the Oppo Find X8. This second photo seems to confirm the design shown in the Digital Chat Station leak.
As a reminder, the OnePlus 13 should also feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, and above all a screen capable of supporting the “local high refresh rate”which means that it will be able to modify its refresh rate on certain chosen areas of the screen, which require more material. If, for example, you watch a YouTube video at the top of the screen, the refresh rate increases there. At the bottom of the screen, on the other hand, it should go down to save battery, as long as what is displayed there is static. For now, the OnePlus 13 is scheduled to be officially unveiled at the end of the month, but we are still waiting for confirmation from OnePlus. As for when it will be available in Europe, the information is still unknown at this time.
