A new induction hob with extractor hood at Bora
Induction hobs with extractor hoods are now well known and almost all manufacturers (Jump, Elica, Siemens or even De Dietrich among many others) have already launched their model. We are therefore witnessing today a move upmarket in this category of device which necessarily coincides with a differentiation of the models offered. Thus the Bora In addition (and this is more original), a light cursor changes color depending on the functions used. When the bar is blue, the suction power and that of the inductors are adjusted. It turns red to indicate the power of the inductors alone. Finally, the user can choose between a glossy finish as we know it on the vast majority of cooking plates or a matte finish which is reminiscent of Electrolux Sapphire Matt plates.
The X pure hob wants to simplify users' lives as much as possible thanks to the Bora Assist system. By using compatible stoves – sold by the brand, of course – and the Bora Joy application, the plate is able to reach a desired temperature and maintain it by varying the electrical power. In addition, it alerts the cook that said temperature has been reached in order to add the ingredients at the best time.
On the technical sheet side, the Bora X Pure does not reinvent the wheel. The hob itself develops a maximum power of 7600 watts for its four inductors. Each pair (left or right) can be combined to form a large cooking area suitable for large or atypically shaped utensils. Note that the manufacturer has provided 9 power levels. While this is sufficient for daily use, the most demanding chefs may become frustrated at not being able to choose the temperature in the containers more precisely.
The maximum suction power of the X Pure hood reaches just under 550 m³/h, which should be enough for a kitchen of around 22 m². A Power function makes it possible to occasionally reach a treatment volume of 620 m³/h in the event of a particularly significant release of odor or smoke (see both). Finally, the technical sheet mentions a sound level of 40 dB(A) at minimum power and 66 dB(A) at maximum power.
The Bora X Pure hob is already available in two versions, glossy and matte. It costs between €3,290 and €3,490 to purchase them.
