Honor Magic 7: AI on all levels to stand out against the competition
Honor has officially announced its Magic 7 series, which will benefit from the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, freshly presented by Qualcomm. The announcement took place during the Snapdragon Summit 2024, where the brand outlined its vision of an ecosystem based on artificial intelligence, and focused on improving the user experience.
An AI agent serving the user
The Magic 7 series will usher in the first embedded AI Agent for an open ecosystem. This intelligent assistant would be able to perform various tasks, such as ordering meals or managing subscriptions, by adapting to the user's preferences. Thanks to voice or text commands, it can, according to the Chinese manufacturer, be inspired by the user's habits to offer personalized services.
The AI Agent, associated with the MagicOS 9.0 update, based on Android 15, would make it possible to manage a wide range of actions in order to make the mobile experience more fluid and intuitive: trip planning, calendar management, file transfers, etc.
An experience gaming reinvented
The Magic 7 series will also introduce a new approach to mobile gaming with the integration of generative AI, powered by NPU computing. This technology should allow real-time graphics rendering, in order to improve image quality while reducing the load on the GPU. Enough to satisfy players thanks to better thermal management of the device, for much more comfortable intensive gaming sessions.
With MagicRing, your devices join forces
Honor also highlighted its partnership with Qualcomm by once again promoting MagicRing, its system designed for better interconnectivity between equipment in the ecosystem. Presented in Barcelona during MWC 2024MagicRing allows a secure and continuous flow of information between the Chinese firm's devices. For example, users can switch seamlessly from their tablet or smartphone to their Honor computer.
