The Asus VivoBook 15 S1505YA-DRMA087W currently displays in promotion at the house of Darty and at the Fnac. It offers a configuration/price ratio attractive for its category where it is one of the cheapest to offer such a high definition and frequency screen with such faithful colors with SSD storage of such a large capacity.

It adopts a sober and elegant appearance with its thin and light light silver design.
It's a shame, however, that its chiclet keyboard does not have a backlighting solution, a feature expected at this price level.
Wireless connectivity is also below average since we find old Wi-Fi 5 ac and Bluetooth 5.1 modules, instead of more recent and efficient Wi-Fi 6 ax and Bluetooth 5.2/.3.
On the other hand, the wired connectivity is good, including 1 USB-C, an audio port, a practical HDMI video output to easily connect this laptop to a monitor or a TV for example or 3 USB including 2 USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) providing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 devices are plugged into it.
The major advantage of this configuration is clearly the screen which benefits from High Definition High Fidelity characteristics thanks to its 2.8K definition superior to Full HD. But also its DCI-P3 OLED characteristics offering significantly higher than average colorimetric accuracy, great black depth as well as significant vertical and horizontal viewing angles. In addition, the latency is low which, combined with the 120Hz refresh rate, provides much better fluidity in everyday life than a standard 60Hz panel.
The screen also adopts a 16/10th format which is more comfortable in height than the classic 16/9th to display more information.
