Google's Pixel 9a could be taller and wider than its predecessor, the Pixel 8awith a new design and many improvements. According to French informant OnLeaks, the dimensions of the Pixel 9a would in fact be 154.7 x 73.2 x 8.9 mm, with a slight additional thickness of 0.5 mm at the camera module, bringing the total measurement to 9.4mm.
Oh, by the way… It appears the #Google#Pixel9a dimensions I revealed three weeks ago were not 100% accurate since I recently received updated data which are a very tiny little bit different with 154.7 x 73.2 x 8.9mm (9.4mm including the slim rear camera ring)… pic.twitter.com/qZvYptiwR9

In comparison, the Pixel 8a measures 152.1 x 72.7 x 8.9mm, meaning the new model would be 2.6mm larger in height and 0.5mm in width. For his part, the Pixel 9 It also has a more compact format (152.8 x 72 x 8.5 mm). This increase in size suggests that Google would opt for a slightly larger 120 Hz Oled screen, probably around 6.2 or 6.3 inches, although the presence of thicker borders risks limiting the visual effect of this development.
The aesthetics of this affordable model, available in four colors, would therefore evolve, with a flat back and a double pill-shaped photo module discreetly integrated into the shell of the device. Performance should be ensured by the Tensor G4 chip, coupled with 8 GB of RAM, and the smartphone would run Android 15 out of the box, for a high-end experience at a reasonable price.
An early launch in March 2025, two months ahead of Google's usual schedule, would aim to not encroach on the release of future Pixel 10s, expected in August of the same year.
