Polar upgrades its Vantage M3 and offers it more specific sports features
An improved version of the Vantage M2, the M3 becomes more premium and gains a host of welcome features. This mid-range model from Polar is now equipped with an Amoled screen, compared to a MIP screen for the previous version. Measuring 1.28 inches and boasting a display resolution of 416 x 416 px, it is covered with Gorilla Glass 3 and is housed in a stainless steel case.
If the appearance of the Vantage M3 goes upmarket, so do the features it offers. The connected watch specializes a little more in multi-sport and attempts to compete with well-established models in this sector, such as the Garmin Forerunner 965. She wants, for example, to be light and very small on the wrist; it then weighs only 53 g, compared to 52 g for its American competitor.
The Polar Vantage M3 also gains in precision, thanks to dual frequency GPS. Offline maps can also be downloaded and used during an outdoor activity. Also, the M3 offers more complete analyzes by equipping itself with additional sensors. Now ECG, skin temperature and blood oxygen saturation measurements can be taken. The heart rate sensor is improved.
To learn more about yourself and improve your performance, running and cycling performance tests have been added to the Polar watch.
In addition to these new features, the Vantage M3 retains its sleep tracking, as well as other daily data, such as calories burned, recovery time and continuous activity tracking. All these readings allow the watch to be more precise and to suggest activities based on the well-being of the user.
Finally, the Polar connected watch would benefit from seven days of autonomy, reduced to 30 hours of autonomy in training mode.
Already available, the Polar Vantage M3 is priced at €399.90.
