With LG, ordinary washing machines are over!
If there is one piece of domestic equipment that doesn't really arouse crowd enthusiasm, it's the washing machine. And even if 96% of French households have one (according to figures from the inter-professional group of household appliance manufacturers), it is often more out of necessity than the pure pleasure of the chore of laundry. However, some manufacturers are trying to bring a little fun to the band, including LG. We remember, for example, the model Signature LSF100W a prestigious essay perhaps a little ahead of its time.
LG, however, seems to believe in the desirable washing machine since the Korean manufacturer has just lifted the veil on the VX series which, despite its nerve agent name, is intended to be a little more attractive than the basic, more stripped-down models. If the electronic display to the right of the control panel is very similar to what we already come across, the wheel is intended to be a little more innovative: it has a small screen which contains the information necessary to program its washing cycle. Below, we find a very large smoked porthole to give a little more character to the whole.
But the VX series washing machines are not just beautiful. They also feature the latest innovations in laundry care such as an ezDispense™ automatic detergent dispenser. We also find the TurboWash™360° spraying system which showers the load using four nozzles arranged around the drum. According to the manufacturer, this technology makes it possible to shorten the duration of a cycle to 39 minutes, without compromising on washing performance. The devices in the VX range could not escape the siren of pairing with a smartphone (equipped with the ThinQ home application) or that of artificial intelligence since we are promised AI-boosted washing cycles so that the movements of the drum best adapt to the linen fibers placed in it to extend the life of the clothes.
Obviously, it is a beltless motor which drives the drum at a spinning speed of 1360 rpm, that's precise! This type of engine has many advantages. It is intended to be less fragile, less energy consuming and less noisy than a classic belt motor. The manufacturer has also provided steam functions to, among other things, relax the fibers of the linen.
LG washing machines from the VX series, including the F14X71WSTA, are already available. However, you will have to pay a substantial entry fee of €1099 for the 11 kg version.
