According to information, the camera module on the back of the Galaxy A56 is the same as that of the Galaxy A55: a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 5-megapixel macro lens. It's at the front camera level that things would be interesting.

Better selfies for the Galaxy A56

GalaxyClub talks about a 12 megapixel sensor for the Galaxy A56 versus 32 megapixels for the Galaxy A55. Strange on paper to talk about improvement, certainly, but remember that a higher number of megapixels does not always translate into better photos. Pixel size and sensor technology play an important role, which would be the case for this smartphone.

The front sensor is therefore expected to be improved, while the same lens has been used since the release of the Galaxy A51 in 2019. The hardware could be from Samsung's high-end Galaxy S series.

What features for the Galaxy A56?

In terms of performance, the Galaxy A56 would be equipped with the new Exynos 1580 SoC designed by Samsung. The first tests show a slight improvement compared to the current generation. The smartphone would also be entitled to six years of software updates, if the Korean manufacturer respects its promise.
