- VERY MALLEABLE CHAMOTTE COOKING CLAY – This 100% natural potter's clay is distinguished by its great malleability. If your modeling clay dries, it can be recovered with water. Pottery kiln firing between 950 and 1050°C.
- CLAY FOR SCULPTURE, MODELING, POTTERY – If this clay loaf is ideal for turning on a potter's wheel, Gédéo modeling, turning & sculpting clay is easily modeled, with or without spatulas and other modeling tools. It can also be molded (we recommend plaster molds).
- COOKING CLAY WITH AN EXCEPTIONAL FINISH – Once dry, this chamotte clay can be polished, cut or perforated before being put in the oven. Its behavior with ceramic glazes is exceptional. The raw color persists after cooking.
- DRYING AND COOKING – Once your piece is finished, this hardening paste must be dried for 2 to 5 days at room temperature. It must then be fired in a ceramic oven (950-1050°C). Drying and baking conditions vary depending on the size and shape of your object.
- LONG STORAGE – This pottery, modeling and sculpture clay is unalterable in its packaging for at least 2 years. Once the package is opened, it can be stored indefinitely in a damp cloth inside a closed plastic bag. If the clay block dries, it can be recycled by kneading it with water.
