New Canal+ releases: films, series and documentaries to watch in streaming in November 2024
After Netflix, Prime Video And Disney+it's the turn of Canal+ (and its myCanal streaming platform) to reveal to us the lot of new films, series and documentaries added to its catalog in November 2024.
On the program: the return of emblematic programs (Hippocrates), expected series (Dune: Prophecy, Silo) and great films for all audiences (The Area of Interest, A little something extra, Godzilla x Kong). We take stock.
Before presenting the new Canal+ and myCanal programs in November, here is, in our opinion, the series and film of the month on the service.
The Canal+ series of the month
Hippocrates – Season 3
It's summer. By decision of health authorities, many hospital services have been closed and those that remain open are overloaded. A strike by SOS Médecins worsens the situation, leaving an entire population without access to care. Patients are flocking, tensions are palpable. At Poincaré hospital, caregivers quickly realize that the instructions are untenable and some decide to disobey. Chloé, Olivier, Arben, Hugo and Alyson are faced with a new dilemma: respect the law or follow their morals.
Three years after its last season, a French reference is back. Again and again headed by Thomas Lilti, who draws inspiration here from his own experience as a caregiver, this season 3 ofHippocrates promises six new unmissable episodes of rare intensity. A dive into the heart of a failing system, carried by a choice cast: Louise Bourgoin, Alice Belaïdi, Karim Leklou, Bouli Lanners…
Available from November 11 on Canal+ and myCanal.

The Canal+ film of the month
The Area of Interest
The life of Rudolf Höss, the commander of the Auschwitz concentration camp, and his wife Hedwig during World War II. Together they try to build an idyllic life for their family in a house with a garden next to the horror camp.
While its harsh subject may put off some, The area of interest is undoubtedly one of the great films of recent years, which has also been rewarded with 2 Oscars. Its radical bias, which suggests horror rather than showing it, proves astonishingly effective, and we quickly find ourselves captive to the daily life of the Höss, played wonderfully by Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a fall) and Christian Friedel (Babylon Berlin).
Available November 5 on Canal+ and myCanal.
