Nothing Phone (2a) Plus: the phosphorescent version arrives in ultra limited quantities

Nothing follows in OnePlus' footsteps by focusing on the community aspect. It must be said that one of the founders is the same: Carl Pei. This is now a first for the young London brand, which now has a smartphone designed with its fans: the Phone (2a) More Community Edition.

After discreetly revealing it in mid-October 2024, highlighting each step where the community was involved, Nothing makes things official this October 30, 2024 with a page dedicated to its smartphone. The latter thus goes into more detail on the choices made throughout this creation process, and highlights the main advantage of this Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition: its design.

Indeed, the smartphone is entitled to something very surprising on the smartphone market: a back with phosphorescent components tinted green. “Just like fireflies, this feature can also be functional, allowing you to find your phone in the dark or indicate your presence”underlines Nothing.

Added to this are wallpapers specially designed for the occasion. The brand also specifies the meaning behind these creations: “The six wallpapers translate community connections into the form of machine connectors, opening doors to a universe of cables, pipes, microchips and components. All encapsulated in a transparent shell, offering a glimpse into this complex, but wonderful community”.
