Playstation: here are the “free” games for November 2024 on the PSN
To be able to play online with your PlayStation, you must subscribe to the PSN Plus Essential service. This offer also allows you to try out a few titles chosen by Sony, at no cost other than the price of the subscription to the service (€71.99 for one year). This month, between two arcade car races on Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbochargedsubscribers will be able to explore a Tokyo abandoned to evil ectoplasms in Ghostwire: Tokyo and enjoy a game of werewolf in the world Death Note.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged
Are you nostalgic for the little cars of your childhood and have you always dreamed of getting behind the wheel of one on twisty circuits? Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged is made for you! Direct continuation of Hot Wheels Unleashed – offered in the PSN Plus Essential subscription a few months ago – we therefore find the extended collection of cars stamped Hot Wheels, the settings which place the player in everyday environments but in mode honey, I shrank the kids and the very arcade races, far from the much more advanced gameplay of Gran Turismo. On the game mode side, we find the championships, the time-attack but also a career mode and a circuit editor which we are promised to be among the richest.
Ghostwire: Tokyo
Presented as one of killer apps of the PS5 when it was released, Ghostwire: Tokyo puts us in the shoes of Akito Izuki, a young Japanese who will have to team up with KK, the ghost of a cynical detective. Both of them will have to work together to thwart Hannya's plans and, incidentally, save Akito's sister and the several thousand Tokyoites whose souls have been harvested by our masked enemy. The action takes place in the form of an FPS in which sulphates, grenades and other blasters are replaced by mystical powers. Yes, we don't hunt the Visitors, Hannya's acolytes, with simple bullets, even silver ones. Akito's mission will force him to walk the streets of Shibuya, which may please the most die-hard Japanese enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the rest of the adventure is a little too banal to be completely satisfying and you will perhaps have to push yourself a little to reach the end of an adventure lasting around fifteen hours in a straight line, count double for completionists.
Death Note: Killer Within
Death Note: Killer Within looks like a skin For Among Us inspired by the work of Tsugumi Ōba and Takeshi Obata. A maximum of ten players are divided into two teams and everyone will have to rack their brains to eliminate the opponents without being unmasked. Trap traps, deductions, ambushes and low blows will be the norm to find out who owns the famous Death Note notebook. If the offer seems attractive, you will still have to find a few friends who are interested in this type of game AND the DeathNote manga to take full advantage of it, as it is much more difficult to have fun in this type of title with complete strangers.
