Plantation Grande Reserva Rum is produced by the Plantation distillery, which is based on the Caribbean island of Barbados. Committed to sustainable actions, respectful of the environment and people, this distillery has certifications such as Fair Trade. Made from sugar cane molasses, this rum is fermented and distilled before being aged for 5 to 8 years in American oak barrels. This rum is then blended and aged for a further 6 months in Cognac barrels, in the Charentes region of France, giving it subtle aromas of dried fruits, vanilla and spices. Plantation Grande Reserva Rum comes in an elegant bottle, with a label that pays homage to Caribbean history and tradition. On the palate, it has sweet and fruity flavors, with notes of ripe banana, vanilla, honey and spices. Considered pleasant and easy to drink, this rum can be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail.
