“Family weekend around Eugène DodeigneOn November 23 and 24, 2024, La Piscine invites you to discover the exhibitions of its fall season with your family: Eugène Dodeigne (1923-2015): a retrospective II And Mado Jolain (1921-2019), ceramist. House side – Garden side
On the program:
- Artistic practice workshops from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. :
Each workshop is previously accompanied by awareness-raising through the works. No prior registration, subject to availability.
– Little fight (from 7 years old)
A compact and hard mass, stone or marble that Eugène Dodeigne chose for his fight. He cuts raw, he sculpts, he cuts leaving traces like scars of the human condition. To our block of dried clay to find energy, to create tension, to form rhythms, to lead our little fight. Please bring one bag per child to leave with the creation.
– A surprise shoot! (from 4 years old)
Small or large garden, the daisy sits next to an earthen form. The latter can be streaked, pinched, scratched, holed… Green, yellow, blue, red, orange or pink covers it. Once glazed, our shoot joins our garden as extraordinary as that of Mado Jolain. (Need to pick up the creations afterwards.)
- Guided tours from 1:30 p.m. (adults) :
Duration 1 hour. Registration at the museum reception 30 minutes before the departure of the visits, subject to availability.
– Eugène Dodeigne: a retrospective II : 2 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
– Mado Jolain, ceramist. House side-Garden side (groups of 15 people maximum): 2:45 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Free for those under 18 and for an adult (one person) accompanying a child for access to the temporary exhibition, the guided tour and the activities.
