One UI 7: beta available soon and new function inspired by Apple Intelligence

Just like GoogleSamsung is struggling with its major update based on Android 15: One UI 7. The latter has also accumulated very latethus postponing the beta program to this end of the year. The release of the final version would wait until 2025, alongside the long-awaited Galaxy S25.

Moreover, this new version is starting to take shape more and more, with clear inspiration from its long-time rival: Apple. We are talking in particular about a more customizable lock screenof best animations or evena control center to quickly access settings and shortcuts.

The Apple firm would also have attracted Samsung with an Apple Intelligence functionality. A well-informed informant on South Korean society, Chun Bhai, actually shared on Twitter/X this November 2, 2024 that Galaxy AI would benefit from notification summaries. The latter has also been available on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 since last week thanks to iOS 18.1 updatebut only in the United States (or by tinkering a little in France).

It must be said that this functionality responds to a more than omnipresent problem in our modern life: the accumulation of notifications. This new feature would thus offer the possibility of reading them more quickly by removing all the superfluity of certain alerts and certain messages.

In any case, Samsung Galaxy smartphone users should quickly be on the list of new features, given that a launch date for the One UI 7 beta has finally been mentioned. According to a recent statement from rumor expert Ice Universe, a mid-November 2024 release date is reportedly being considered.
