Asus prepares to unveil its latest smartphone gamingthe ROG Phone 9, on November 19. A model that could make a big splash among brand aficionados, with a screen with an impressive refresh rate of 185 Hz. It is the famous informant Digital Chat Station who echoes this on the Chinese social network Weibo. A technological feat which should appeal to fans of mobile games, and would nevertheless be reserved for the game's Genius mode, in order to offer display fluidity much higher than current standards.
As a reminder, the ROG Phone 8 Pro released in early 2024 had a screen capable of reaching 165 Hz in-game. The new LTPO technology integrated into the ROG Phone 9 would therefore once again allow dynamic adaptation of the refresh rate, thus optimizing energy consumption while maintaining performance high-end visuals.

In addition to its particularly fluid display, the ROG Phone 9 will be powered by Qualcomm's new high-end SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Elitewhich should also guarantee excellent performance on the most demanding games. Rumors suggest a configuration of up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, which promises more than enough power and space to use the entire Play Store without slowing down.
Still according to the leaker, the design of the smartphone would also be designed to ensure effective heat dissipation, allowing players to enjoy long sessions without overheating. It would finally benefit from IP68 certification, ensuring protection against water and dust. All that remains is to wait until November 19, 2024 to find out everything about this ROG Phone 9, already anticipated to be the new benchmark for mobile game enthusiasts.
