Stranger Things (Netflix): we know the episode titles for season 5

It will soon be the beginning of the end for Stranger Things and on the occasion of Stranger Things Day (which every November 6 marks the date of the disappearance of Will Byers), Netflix revealed the title of the episodes of the last season of the show and confirmed that it will arrive on the streaming platform in 2025.

A season still in production

The filming of the fifth season of Stranger Things is still in progress but that doesn't stop Netflix from already giving fans a glimpse of what awaits them in this final wave of episodes.

The video below reveals the titles of the latter, one of which remains veiled in mystery because we have to keep a little surprise.

These titles are as follows:

• Rescue mission
• The disappearance of ???
• The trap
• Witchcraft
• Shock plan
• Escape from Camazotz
• The Bridge
• The World right side up

If “The Disappearance of” suggests that something or someone will evaporate (by falling into the Upside Down like Will in season 1?) or that titles like “The trap” And “Escape from Camazotz” may indicate that the group of young people at the heart of the show will find themselves trapped somewhere, the field of possibilities is very wide and the theories will surely be rife until the return of the series in 2025.

Fans can therefore start speculating about what awaits Eleven, Mike, Will and their friends and relatives in this next season.

One thing is certain, this season 5 will resume the story in the fall of 1987, and a broadcast in the fall of 2025 would therefore not be surprising. This therefore implies a time jump of a little over a year in history, because the events of season 4 began in March 1986. As a reminder, this season ended on the World at Invasive reverse Hawkins.

The penultimate season of Stranger Things having been broadcast in two parts on Netflix in 2022, it is expected that the SVOD service will reproduce a similar distribution model for this final season, especially since these eight episodes are a priori very long and more akin to TV films.
