Fans of The Night Agentmark your calendars! We now know the broadcast date for the second season of the series Netflix. It will in fact be available on the streaming service on January 23, as indicated by a thrilling first teaser.

The Return of the Night Agent

Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) will return to service in January 2025 in the second season of The Night Agentthe Netflix series which enjoyed phenomenal success upon its release in 2023, and which still sits in the top 10 most popular English-language shows on Netflix, with 98.2 million total views in 3 months.

Season 2 of this action series created by Shawn Ryan (Timeless, SWAT) will see Peter Sutherland find his feet within the Night Action unit, the secret organization investigating cases that traditional intelligence agencies cannot handle.

We can also get a glimpse of this new season in a breathtaking teaser which suggests that Peter will have to prove that he has what it takes to be a night agent.

New dangers await Peter in these 10 new episodes of the Netflix series which were filmed in New York, Washington DC as well as Thailand.

If this season 2 can count on the return of Luciane Buchanan in the role of Rose Larkin, Peter's girlfriend, it will also be marked by the introduction of new characters.

Peter will thus be trained and supervised by Catherine Weaver (played by Amanda Warren, seen in The Leftovers), a veteran of the Night Action unit who will have difficulty gaining his trust, and will collaborate with Alice (Brittany Snow, seen in Pitch Perfect) for his first mission.

Other new cast members are Berto Colon (Orange is the New Black), Louis Herthum (Westworld), Arienne Mandi (The L World: Generation Q) and Teddy Sears (The Flash).

Fans of the series will soon be able to discover its sequel, and can rejoice in the fact that The Night Agent has already been renewed for a third season which will begin filming by the end of the year.
