Back 4 Blood is a cooperative first-person shooter game, developed by Turtle Rock Studios and edited by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Released on October 12, 2021, it is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Windows.
The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the majority of humanity has been infected by an alien parasite, transforming people into creatures called the “Ridden”. Players take on the role of the “Cleaners”, a group of survivors who fight against these creatures to regain control of the world.
Back 4 Blood is often compared to the series Left 4 Deadalso developed by Turtle Rock Studios. Gameplay emphasizes cooperation between players, with PvE (player versus environment) and PvP (player versus player) game modes. One of the game's unique features is the use of cards that modify various gameplay elements, such as players' health, damage and stamina.
