The weeks go by and look the same, always with an armada of rumors around the next Samsung devices. While the Galaxy S25 are only a few weeks away, the folding phones of 2025 are becoming more and more talked about, including the affordable Galaxy Z Flip.

Nicknamed Galaxy Z Flip FE or Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, this first model promises a lower price than the future Galaxy Z Flip 7 or the Galaxy Z Flip 6. And for this, Samsung must lower the bill in various ways, starting with performance.

This November 22, 2024, the leaker Jukanlosreve also shared on Twitter/X that Samsung would use its Exynos 2400e chip on this model, and not a Qualcomm SoC as for previous generations. He thus returns to his statement made at the beginning of the monthwhich mentioned the presence of an Exynos 2400 chip.

As a reminder, the Exynos 2400e has already been used on the Galaxy S24 FEand is summarized as a slightly less powerful version than the Exynos 2400 of the Galaxy S24 and S24+. To put it simply, we are faced with performance similar to the Pixel 8 Pro, offering foolproof fluidity and sufficient graphics performance to play and run all the applications in the Play Store.

In addition, the informant assures that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will benefit from an Exynos 2500 chip, and not the Exynos 2400 as mentioned in previous rumors. As a reminder, the latter was initially planned for the Galaxy S25 and S25+the launch of which will take place at the beginning of 2025. There is therefore a good chance that the South Korean firm will have finished the work by next summer.

Note, the Galaxy Z Flip FE would also be entitled to an evolution in terms of photo sensors to be displayed at a lower price than the Galaxy Z Flip 7. However, the information leaks do not currently specify what precise changes will be carried out for this part of the technical sheet.
