Arcane: after season 2, what future for the Netflix series?
Arcanathe series derived from the online game League of Legendshas just finished its second season on Netflix. We already know that this conclusion marks the end of the seriesbut not necessarily from its universe on the streaming service. According to its co-creator, Christian Linke, new adventures in the vein ofArcana will arrive on our screens very soon.
A universe Arcana in full expansion
When passing through Necrit94 Twitch channel this weekend, Linke took stock of the future of the franchise. According to him, three new projects are now in the works of Riot Games, the company creating League of Legendsand the French animation studio Fortiche.
Each of these series will focus on different locations in the universe ofArcana and of League of Legends – namely Noxus, Ionia and Demacia – to tell new stories and thus expand the lore of the franchise.

Where Noxus is a powerful empire in the world of League of LegendsIonia is an archipelago of sublime and magical islands known as the First Lands, while Demacia is a strong kingdom with a prestigious military history.
Some of the charactersArcana being from Noxus (like Mel Medara and her mother), it is not surprising to see the series' universe take this direction, especially since Linke has stated that certain plots ofArcana could continue elsewhere.
Fans of League of Legends can therefore begin to speculate about the many champions of this universe who could appear in these different projects.
Either way, one thing is certain: Arcana may be over, but the world of League of Legends has a bright future ahead of it in series form.
As of yet, no release dates have been announced for these projects, but The Digitals will obviously keep you informed.
