Polk's newly patented X-Port technology
The new X-port technology incorporates an Eigentone filter (ETF), for natural, distortion-free bass. Made up of a set of closed-tube absorbers specially optimized to capture and eliminate the distortions of an acoustic enclosure, the X-Port system ensures that the upper bass and midrange remain free of any resonance coming from the port and the speaker cabinet, resulting in sound that always remains fluid and ultra detailed.
