Apple is preparing an iPad Pro with an M5 chip and an OLED screen for 2025
Apple is no longer stopping. The iPhone 17 is in the works with an expected design change but the Californian company is also banking on its shelves. According to leaker Jukanlosreve, which relies on statements from Park Kyung-woo, senior researcher at LG Display, an iPad Pro with an M5 chip and an OLED screen would be released before the end of 2025.
An M5 chip and an OLED screen for the iPad Pro 2025
While the M4 chip equips new Apple productsthe Cupertino company is preparing its next processor which has not yet been made official. Next year's iPad Pro with this SoC could arrive around the second half of 2025. Possibly around October for the US holiday season but that's just a guess.
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg confirms this launch of the iPad Pro M5 between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026. However, despite the M5 chip and the OLED screen, there would be few developments. It is likely that Apple will keep the design for the 2024 version.
It is surprising that the Cupertino company is releasing a series of touchscreen tablets when there was no iPad in 2023 and a new iPad Air was marketed in 2024. We are also expecting a new model of entry level soon. As for the foldable iPad, it is possible that its release will not arrive until 2026. But as always: tweezers are in order.
