Apple is working on its range iPhone 17 but don't forget the increasingly popular folding smartphones. While Huawei unveiled its new Mate X6the leaker Yeux1122 tells us that a folding iPhone is being prepared with the launch of the development of its screen. The leaker cites a supply chain source. The information was first published in Korean and then shared by Jukanlosreve, another well-known tipster, on X.

The information contrasts with the previous ones. Apple has filed numerous patents for folding smartphones in recent years. The documents showed, however, that the Cupertino company was focusing on exploratory research instead of a concrete development project. Today, it seems that the Californian company is collaborating with screen manufacturers to launch possible production of an iPhone of this new type.
According to analysts, the foldable iPhone is expected for 2026a schedule consistent with the new information. Next year is too ambitious in the face of the technological challenges of creating a smartphone that meets Apple's quality standards. The Cupertino company is known for launching products well after its competitors. A strategy sometimes mocked.
The format of the foldable iPhone remains mysterious. Rather Flip like a compact or Fold like a book for a larger display surface? According to Yeux1122, Samsung plans to accelerate the launch of an FE range so that the technology is more accessible.
