Snapdragon 8s Elite: this smartphone will be the first to benefit from it, here is its release date

According to leaker Smart Pikachu on the social network WeiboQualcomm is preparing a Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC for the first quarter of 2025. As a preferred partner, Xiaomi plans to integrate the SoC into the Civi 5. As a reminder, the Civi 4 Pro was the first to benefit from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 during of its launch last March.

For reference, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC has an octa-core architecture engraved in 4nm with a Cortex-X4 main core at 3.0 GHz, four performance cores at 2.8 GHz, and three efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz .

The Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC would be an optimized version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite which focuses on optimal value for money. The Civi 4 Pro is sold in China from ¥2,999, or approximately €392.

The smartphone benefits from a 6.55-inch OLED screen, a triple camera module developed in partnership with Leica and a 4,700 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It is therefore possible that the Civi 5 is also advantageous in terms of price.
